Cruise along the brand new streets of Summerville's Nexton community on the "fastest 5K course in the Charleston area." This family-friendly race includes a certified 5K race (9:30 am start) and free 1-mile family fun run (9:00am start). Registration begins at 7:00am at Nexton Town Center
- 201 Sigma Drive, Summerville. Special grand prize gift baskets will go to each overall winner and individual prizes will go to the top three finishers in each age/gender group. You won't want to miss the post-race party with a fully-stocked hot cocoa bar by Coffee Roasters, signature cocoa mug for each 5K finisher courtesy of Palmetto Primary Care Physicians – plus, all participants 21+ will receive a free drink ticket for Carolina Ale House with food specials for all. Early-bird pricing of $20 is available online before Dec. 12 at midnight. Race t-shirt? Heck no! Each participant will receive a Nike hooded sweatshirt (Charleston’s online race sweatshirt). After Dec. 12, registration fee will increase to $25. Pick up your race packet, bib & sweatshirt, at Fleet Feet Mount Pleasant on Dec. 19 from 10am-7pm. Day-of packet pickup will be held at the start of the race beginning at 7am. The race will be capped at 500 participants. Registration is not required for the 1-mile fun run (sweatshirt not included). Strollers are welcome; dogs will not be permitted on the race course.
