Alfonso Hernandez

Alfonso Hernandez began his banking career with Bank of America soon after graduating from Berkeley College with a business management degree. Now, he is the South Carolina market director for JPMorgan Chase & Co., a position he has held since 2017. His career has also included work with Bank of America and Valley National Bank. Hernandez, a second-generation Cuban-American, has said he hopes to make a difference for members of the Latin community, particularly by bringing in more bilingual bankers. In late 2024, Hernandez oversaw the opening of Chase’s first Myrtle Beach branch.
