Atelier Downtown Nexton Welcomes MUSC Health Outpatient Clinic

Downtown Nexton, the urban-inspired residential and commercial development from Sharbell Nexton LLC. (Sharbell), continues to expand with the addition of a new healthcare facility.  MUSC Health has opened a new outpatient clinic at Atelier Downtown Nexton, the development’s mixed-use office campus.

This new office from MUSC Health will offer both primary care and cardiology outpatient services, expanding access to care for residents of Downtown Nexton and beyond. This opening marks a continued push to bring medical services and state-of-the-art patient care closer to fast-growing communities outside Charleston’s core.

Atelier Downtown Nexton spans 7.41 acres along Brighton Park Boulevard. It features multiple two-story buildings, ranging from approximately 9,000 to 18,000 square feet, offering space for a wide range of businesses, from small entrepreneurs to larger commercial, medical, and service organizations, in a walkable, campus-style setting. Officials note that the design, modeled after a modern think tank environment, emphasizes common green spaces, accessibility and integration with the larger Downtown Nexton neighborhood.
