Brent Gibadlo

Brent Gibadlo leads Brookfield’s Land and Housing operations across the South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina, markets, with primary responsibility for Nexton — the award-winning, 5,000-acre mixed-use community in the Lowcountry. Nexton was recently named Best Master-Planned Community of 2025 by Builder Magazine’s Choice Design Awards, a national recognition that reflects its commitment to innovation, wellness, design, diversity, and lifelong learning. A graduate of the College of Charleston, Gibadlo went on to earn an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), serving on the Community Development Council. He is a past chairman of the College of Charleston School of Professional Studies Advisory board and has served on the boards of the Charleston Metro Chamber, Charleston Regional Development Alliance, and Kids On Point.
