Vicky Wood

Vicky Wood, Ph.D., is the sixth president of Trident Technical College. She is leading the implementation of Career Guided Pathways designed to improve student success and connect learners with employers throughout their educational journey. Wood is expanding programs and enhancing campus facilities to ensure students have access to cutting-edge labs and learning environments, including the revitalized Berkeley Campus slated for completion in 2026. Before coming to Trident Technical College, Wood served as president of Washington State College of Ohio. She previously held teaching and vice president positions at Marion Technical College. Wood is a first-generation technical college graduate and holds a doctorate in higher education leadership from The University of Toledo, a master’s degree from Bowling Green State University, and a bachelor’s degree from Ashland University.
