OWL Automotive Consulting, LLC announced that Sally Lopez has assumed full ownership of the company and now serves as its sole owner and CEO, marking a new chapter for the South Carolina-based automotive consulting firm.
Lopez, who previously served as co-owner and CEO, acquired the remaining ownership interest following the retirement of longtime business partner Tom Olney. The transition makes OWL Automotive Consulting a 100 percent woman-owned business. Lopez brings more than 38 years of automotive industry experience to her leadership of OWL.
Her career has included dealership operations, accounting and finance, technology, mergers and acquisitions, and executive leadership. Before joining OWL, she spent more than two decades with Penske Automotive Group, where she held senior leadership roles supporting dealership operations and growth.
“This transition represents both continuity and opportunity for OWL,” said Lopez. “We’ve built a team that understands the automotive industry from the inside, and our focus remains on helping dealerships solve complex challenges, strengthen their operations and move their businesses forward.”
OWL Automotive Consulting works with automotive dealerships and dealer groups nationwide, providing Managed IT, DMS consulting and conversions, accounting and finance services, project management, mergers and acquisitions support, and strategic consulting. The company takes a vendor-agnostic approach and works alongside dealership teams to provide both strategic guidance and hands-on execution. OWL currently supports more than 8,000 dealership end users across the United States.
As sole owner and CEO, Lopez will continue to lead OWL’s growth while expanding the company’s capabilities across both professional services and managed IT.
